Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for the Parkland.
They say a fast-moving band of freezing rain has developed over portions of southeastern Saskatchewan and the Manitoba parklands this morning. The potential for freezing rain will continue until temperatures rise above zero towards noon.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Environment Canada says to take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas and be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
