Officials have reported 67 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, and have ruled out one of the province’s previous cases.
Manitoba’s total case count is 2,344. Of the cases, 863 are active and 1,454 are recovered.
One of today’s new cases is in Prairie Mountain Health. There are no active cases in the Dauphin, Riding Mountain, or Agassiz Mountain health districts.
When it comes to active cases in the Parkland: the Little Saskatchewan health district has one active case, Brandon has 5, and the Whitemud health district (northeast of Brandon) has 6.
There has been a possible COVID exposure at the Riding Mountain Village Canada Post Outlet in The No. 5 Store at 21 PTH 5 in Riding Mountain, on Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 and Oct. 5 and 6 from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
Prairie Mountain Health has moved its drive-thru testing site in Brandon. The site that was once at the Brandon Town Centre is now located off Van Horne Avenue East in Brandon.
Regular hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday to Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
