Today is the final day votes will be counted in the leadership contest for the Conservative Party of Canada.
269,469 members are eligible to vote and as of Wednesday, the party had received over 150 thousand mail-in ballots, more than the total number of votes cast in the 2017 leadership race.
Derek Sloan, Erin O’Toole, Leslyn Lewis, and Peter MacKay are in the running to replace Andrew Scheer.
Local Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa MP Dan Mazier had previously endorsed Erin O’Toole in the race.
All mail-in ballots must arrive by 4 pm to be counted and the winner will be announced on Sunday.
