"The Ironman tournament is always an event that everyone at the club looks forward to," said Scott McCallum, General Manager at the Gilbert Plains Country Club. "It's a chance for the greenskeeper to get as nasty as he'd like to, and everyone that's played here before knows how nasty the pins can be."

The format for the tournament is a four-person scramble and a team of four costs $200.00 which includes a meal after the round, and a chance at prizes.

Even if you haven't played Gilbert Plains Country Club before, you're welcome to sign up to play.

"Over the last several years, most people are navigating towards four-person scrambles, and not taking it as seriously as others," said McCallum. "If you want to come out and have a good time, this is definitely a great way to finish out the season."
