Brady Turko has put the McCreary Peewee Mustangs one win away from heading to the Provincial Peewee B Championships.

He scored three goals last night as the Mustangs beat the Grand Plains Hawks, 6-1, in the first game of a best of three series. The winner of the series moves on to the provincials in Souris in March.

Brody Fayant scored two goals, one of which was the game-winner while Ryan Gower opened up the scoring on the evening.

Game two will be played tonight in McCreary.
