There’s just a couple weeks left to get tickets for the 2019 Conservation Districts Tour.
Sean Goertzen, executive director for the Manitoba Conservation Districts Association, says they tour a district every year to showcase success stories.
This year’s Conservation Districts Tour is in the Whitemud Watershed District which is in the Neepawa area.
The tour will involve small bands, shelterbelts, waterway infrastructure work, and will cover most of the Whitemud Watershed District.
Goertzen says this is a chance to get on the landscape and see success stories and real physical projects.
It’ll be a way to see how sustainability is being improved.
The tour will be on June 26th from 10 til 4. You have to be registered by June 5th and it costs 5 dollars.
