The Manitoba Snowshoe run is kicking off its third year on Feburary 15th at the Selo Site just 11km south of Dauphin.
The run is put on to get people out in the winter, get some exercise, and enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature.

Kevin Steinbachs, organizer of the Manitoba Snowshoe Run says that they have added something new for people to try out this year.

``We`ve added in fat biking as well. So fat biking is mountain bikes with super wide tires. There will be a few demo bikes from Streaming Wood there for people who have never done it just to try it after the snow shoe running. Or if people have their own fat bikes then they are more than welcome to try out the trails as well.``

The event is put on by the Dauphin Rotary Club and all proceeds go towards their active living fund, that supports active activities in the Parkland area. Today is the last day for early registration that starts at $25, and after today the price goes up to $35
