If you still have fertilizer to apply before winter hits, Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship is giving you a third chance.
The province advised earlier this week that the deadline would be extended to Saturday, but now it's being extended again to midnight next Thursday.
That means the ban will be in effect as of Friday, November 20.
The deadline for winter nutrient applications is being extended because soil temperatures haven't reached freezing.
