The clinic is going to be at the Dauphin Friendship Centre on Friday from 9:00 to 4:00.

Terra Matthews, Urban Partnerships Coordinator for the friendship centre explains the event:

“The ID with Citizens’ Bridge is going to be offering a one day clinic to get your Canadian birth certificate for those that need it,” explained Matthews. “It’s aimed at low income individuals but we won’t turn anyone away.  Citizens’ Bridge works out of Winnipeg and we became partners with them last year.  So when individuals come needing identification, they can come to us and we can fill out an application and send it away.”

The clinic is free and people are asked to bring any identification they may have.
