Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski says it'd be great to have in Dauphin but the province has to think provincially.
"Going to Brandon, going to Winnipeg isn't the most convenient but at the end of the day we're faced with some fiscal challenges and in the end we need to make sure that those services provide benefits -- giving consideration for all Manitobans."
The decision is pending as the government is waiting on recommendations from the Wait Times Task Force on where to best allocate resources such as MRI services.
