New Recycling System Starts Sept 6 in RM of Dauphin
Recycling changes are less than a month away for the RM of Dauphin.
Ottenbreit Sanitation Services out of Yorkton will be in charge of the RM's recycling duties as of September 6.
CAO Laura Murray says curbside pickup will cease in residential subdivisions but there will be drop-off locations throughout the municipality.
"We've got them here in our office..., at the Dauphin airport -- we've got a site there near where the mailboxes are --, at the Valley River Community Hall, the Sifton Community Hall, and then of course at the landfill site up in Sifton."
The City of Dauphin is still finalizing details of its changeover to OSS.

Terror Suspect Originally from Winnipeg Killed in Police Confrontation
Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale says Canada's national terrorism threat level remains at "medium,'' where it has stood since the fall of 2014.
His comments follow last night's deadly RCMP takedown of terrorism suspect Aaron Driver in Strathroy, Ontario.
The man in his 20s originally from Winnipeg was killed in a confrontation with police, hours after Mounties confirmed they'd received "credible information'' of a potential terrorist threat.
The RCMP plan to release details today.

No Bail for Winnipeg Woman Facing Abduction Charge
A Winnipeg woman accused of abducting her two children and fleeing from police has been denied bail.
Sandra Giesbrecht, who is 44, was arrested in June and ch
arged with abduction without a custody order and flight while being pursued by a peace officer.
The children are back in the full custody of their father.
Officers had issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Giesbrecht and pleaded with her to contact them before her arrest. At one point her vehicle collided with a police cruiser.
