Manager of Communications and Public Information for Elections Manitoba, Allison Mitchell says you can decline your vote and still participate.

 

"Instead of putting an 'X' beside the name of a candidate you write 'decline,' then you fold it up and take it back and either you or the voting officer would just put it into the ballot box as if you would normally."
