The channel received an award from the company for recruiting the most volunteers out of all the community channels, and for providing the most community programming.

 

The chair of the group, Henry Amman, says he was quite pleased after finding out the group won the award.

 

"I think for everybody here, it just makes you want to carry on doing the work. Realizing that people do appreciate what you are doing just makes you feel good."
