It was a great weekend for the Grand Plains Peewee Ice Dogs and they’re coming home with a silver medal because of it. 

After going 2-0 yesterday in Neepawa, the Ice Dogs wrapped up their round-robin with a game against the Foxwarren Foxes and they lost 5-0.

Grand Plains had the chance to reset as they played the Foxes once again in the tournament final and what a game it was. 

The Ice Dogs led the whole game until Foxwarren tied it up very late to send the game into overtime tied at three. 

In the extra period, Foxwarren scored to win the Championship.

Jordyn Seversen, Skyla Burns and Addison Damsgaard did the scoring for Grand Plains in the game. 

Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy A1 Kings:

Played in the Swan River tournament this weekend and played some solid hockey. 

They ended up losing in the final but still are coming back home with silver medals!
