Last night at the GKCC members were able to participate in an official vote towards the merger with final numbers released.
A total of 333 ballots were cast; 259 in favour of the merger, 73 not in favour of the merger and 1 spoiled ballot.
The decision towards amalgamation won by a landslide with 77.9 per cent in favour.
The proposed announcement to merge both credit unions was made earlier in January.
