Physicians will be available for consultations with mothers who are at the 20 week mark of their pregnancy, about delivering in Swan River.
There are a number of qualifications that need to be met in order to qualify for the program.
However, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shawn Gauthier says these are fairly standard in order to deliver the baby properly.
"In any clinical screening, we want to be able to deliver the appropriate care to the patient at the time that it's needed."
Dr. Gauthier added "The purpose of the criteria that has been put into place, are to ensure that the service can be delivered safely."
