Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Sifton
A home in Sifton is a complete loss after a fire.
Sifton and Dauphin firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a fire that fully engulfed a mobile home.
The occupants of the home escaped unharmed with a few personal belongings.
Dauphin firefighters were called to the scene around 8:30 last night, and firefighters from both departments stayed for about five hours to ensure the fire was completely out.
A post on the Dauphin Fire Department's Facebook page says the fire is not considered suspicious.

Get Your Leaves Piles Ready
The City of Dauphin's fall clean up campaign begins next week.
On Tuesday, city crews will begin picking up fall waste from residential properties, beginning in the Day 4 area of the garbage schedule and working their way down.
Public Works foreman Terry Genik asks people leave their piles in places that heavy equipment can access-- not next to sheds and fences.
The fall waste must be free of household garbage to be picked up.

Reward Offered for Info Leading to Missing Girl
The family of a missing 17-year-old girl are offering a 25-thousand-dollar reward for information that helps finds her.
Mekayla Bali was first reported missing on April 12th. She was last seen at the bus depot in Yorkton, but never made it onto the bus.
RCMP Inspector Jennifer Ebert says at this point, there's nothing that suggests the girl met with foul play.
But she says the fact there has been no digital footprint of the teen for six months is very disturbing.

Job Cuts Coming to MB Civil Service
The Manitoba government is planning to cut 112 management jobs in the civil service and is not ruling out layoffs.
Finance Minister Cameron Friesen says all departments will be part of the effort to cut senior management positions by the end of next year while sparing front-line jobs.
Friesen says the cuts are to be made partly through attrition and retirements, but he isn't ruling out handing some managers pink slips.
The Progressive Conservative government plans to cut costs and chip away at an $846-million deficit.
