Even though it is only late September, it is not too early to be thinking about Christmas season parties - and in particular how you are going to get home after an evening of having a few drinks.
That's where the Dauphin RIDE program steps in, as it is set to return for another season.
Volunteers will drive you and your vehicle home, and have been very successful in reducing the number of impaired driving cases in the area during the month of December.
Board member Sarah Shuttleworth says the program will start a little sooner this year.
"Our first night this year is November 27th. We usually only do December, but we know that there are a few holiday parties happening the last weekend of November, so we are hoping to get some calls that weekend as well."
The program had around 50 volunteer drivers last year, and the call is out looking for any new volunteers.
