Countryfest is gearing up to host this year's Parkland Business Expo this weekend.
Natalie Haslund, Chair of the Parkland Business Expo, said attendees can expect a few positive changes this year.
"You are definitely going to see a lot more crafters and craft tables, we expanded that section of the Parkland Business Expo, as well as we have a lot more entertainment this year, so we have our Taylor Swifter, we have Bluey, and we have Princess Belle coming in, we also have face painting from Lavender Blue Face and Body Paint," said Haslund.
They already have more than 130 businesses at the event with booths to showcase themselves to the community.
Haslund said when Countryfest found out that the previous event holders weren't going to continue hosting, it simply made sense for Countryfest to take the reins.
"We felt as Dauphin Countryfest this is something that we could do and that we could handle, and so we put together a team to take over this last year, and it just keeps getting better and better every year," said Haslund.
There will also be a food truck on site outside of the event.
The Parkland Business Expo takes place this weekend at Credit Union Place and the Parkland Rec Complex. It runs Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
