The Municipality of Glenella-Lansdowne has declared a state of agricultural emergency.
In a post on their Facebook page, they say it is due to severe drought conditions in the municipality that are affecting crops, hay land, and pasture.
The post added that council is urgently requesting immediate support from the Federal and Provincial governments, including tax deferrals, feed shortage assistance, and freight support.
