The Dauphin Kings scored first and led after 40 minutes, but the Neepawa Natives scored four third-period goals to beat the Kings, 6-3.

It was a memorable first period for Dauphin’s Bradyn Smelski as he scored his first goal as a part of the Dauphin Kings, and first goal in the MJHL, at the 11:24 mark, as the Kings led, 1-0, after 20 minutes.

It was a high scoring second period with four goals, two by the Dauphin Kings, as Dustin Mozdzen scored his first as a King at 3:08, and Jaymes Knee continued his great play potting one at 8:39, as the Kings led 3-2 after 40.

In the third, it was all Neepawa Natives, as they scored four goals, with two of them being empty net goals, as they beat the Kings, 6-3.
