The Dauphin Brewers went into Friday's game knowing what it felt like to lose the first game of a series, as they did it against the Plumas Pirates in the quarterfinals.
The only difference in the series with the Neepawa Cubs is that the Brewers lost the first game, and they lost the second game, that took place tonight at Brewer Diamond by a final score of 10-5.
Both teams headed into the final inning tied at five, but from there the Cubs scored five unanswered runs to take the lead at 10-5, and that's where the game ended.
"We just fell apart there." said Wade Thiele, Manager/Player for the Brewers.
The Neepawa Cubs now advance to the League Championship against either Carberry or Portage.
