Matthew Munro turned 16-years-old on Sunday and one of his birthday presents was a win in his hometown playing in the rink he grew up playing at.
Playing with the U18 Rangers at the Centennial Arena in Swan River, the team completed a weekend sweep of Norman with a 5-2 win.
Carter Zalischuk scored once and added two assists in the victory.
Also scoring for Parkland was Luke Decorby, Josh Thompson, Anthony Rizzi, and Jayce Legaarden.
The Rangers will look to finish the preseason perfect on Tuesday when they welcome Yellowhead to Credit Union Place.
