There will be no shortage of Parkland flavour at the Telus Junior Provincial Curling Championships that Dauphin will Play host to from January 1-5.

Playing in a qualifier in Winnipeg, Team Friesen booked their spot. That means Emma Jensen and Hanne Jensen are coming home to play for a provincial title.

Swan River’s Presley Sagert and her team will be coming to town as they qualified earlier today.

Also, qualifying was Dauphin’s Anya Jackson and her team. 

Two other Parkland teams to qualify were Dauphin’s Makenna Hadway and her foursome. Also, Team McCannell which features Stacy Sime and Rebecca Sahulka.

On the men’s side, Tyson Beyak’s foursome which includes Carter Williamson will also take part in the event as they’ve qualified. 

Luke Davidson’s team has also qualified. Davidson also skips a team in the Parkland Super League of Curling.

Dauphin’s Lawson Yates will also have the opportunity to win a provincial title in his hometown after his foursome skipped by Brett Walter qualified.
