We are just one day away from the 107th Grey Cup that takes place in Calgary tomorrow afternoon starting at 5:00 p.m.

As I've been doing all week, it's now time to get you one step closer to kick-off tomorrow in a game that's being dubbed the "Drought Bowl". The game will feature the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Winnipeg hasn't won a title since 1990 while Hamilton hasn't won since 1999.

When it comes to the drought, Adam Bighill, defensive all-star for Winnipeg isn't buying into it.

"There is really no time to think about ending that. It's time to prepare ourselves to win," said Bighill from Calgary. "We already believe we're going to win this game and that's already been built into preparing for this week, now it's just time to go earn it."

"We know if we take care of the small details, we can earn the right to call ourselves champions," he added.

Bighill had 61 tackles this regular season with Winnipeg. He also added four sacks and two interceptions. He added another six tackles through the Western Semifinal and Final. Bighill began his CFL career in 2011 with the BC Lions. Ironically enough, Bighill and the Lions beat Winnipeg, 34-23 to win the title that season.

As a second-year Bomber, Bighill is excited for the opportunity to add to his already elite championship resume.

"We got to this point for a reason. It's because of how hard we worked every week and prepared," he added. "There is nothing after this week. It's about putting every single bit into preparing for this week and making sure we're ready for Hamilton. We have to understand what they're going to do and we have to understand how we're going to get this win."

Winnipeg will serve as the home team tomorrow which means they will get the Stampeders locker room. However, they will be wearing their away jerseys for the game. They have won their last two games with those and they have only given up 27 points in the process.

"We know we were going to have to be on the road the entire time through this road, sure we're the home team, but we're still on the road and wearing our road jerseys," he continued. "It's a part of our character, our focus, and who we are. It's time to go out and get this thing."

Hamilton will enter the contest as three-point favourites. They've lost just three times this weekend and they have 16 wins. Winnipeg were also underdogs in their game against Calgary and Saskatchewan, so Winnipeg is used to being underdogs.

"I don't think we're really worried about that. The only thing we're worried about is we haven't beaten Hamilton this year, they're the only team in the CFL that we haven't," concluded Bighill. "They're the most explosive offence, they have a solid defensive group, and special teams as well."

"It's two great football teams that are matching up tomorrow. The one that executes the best, can control the football, and has the least amount of penalties has the best chance to win," added Bighill.

Tomorrow's game is set for 5:00 p.m. from McMahon Stadium.
