The Parkland U18 Rangers nearly had triple the amount of shots as the Kenora Thistles, but they couldn’t get it done on Saturday.
The Thistles went up 4-1 and they held on for a 4-3 win, their first of the season.
After Hayden Lacquette made it 1-0 Parkland, the Thistles scored four straight.
Jayden Jubenvill and Brayden Kohlman would score a goal each a minute apart in the third, but it wasn’t enough for the Rangers.
They’ll now head on the road for three straight next weekend. Friday’s game is in Kenora.
