The Telus Provincial Junior Curling Championships are just more than a month away from taking place at both the Dauphin Curling Club and Credit Union Place.

Dauphin's, Lane Prokopowich will be back in town for that event and in preparation for it, Lane and the rest of Team Serena Gray-Withers continue to roll.

Playing in the Sunlife Financial Invitational this past weekend in Brandon, the foursome picked up their third win of the season and they did so by going perfect.

"It feels absolutely amazing," said Prokopowich. "It means a lot to us that we won this one."

In the round-robin, they beat Team McCannell, 6-2, Team Johnson, 10-2, Team Friesen, 8-4, and Team Lukowich, 8-3.

That earned them a spot in the semifinals and they kept rolling. Playing against Team Zacharias, Lane and the team won, 7-6. That win gave them a berth in the finals against another couple of Parkland curlers.

Hanna and Emma Jensen curl on Team Friesen. Lane and the rest of the foursome curled exceptionally well in winning the final, 10-3.

Next up for the foursome is the MJCT Championships that begin on November 29. Lane and her team will be the top-ranked team going into that event as they've earned the most points.
