Dauphin’s Kellan Shtykalo, Russell’s Mason Auger, and Felix Huberdeau spent their Mother’s Day weekend by winning a title.
Playing in the Spring Shootout in Winnipeg on the Manitoba Express, all three were huge in helping the team win the 2011 AAA division Championship.
They went a perfect 5-0 which included a big 9-2 win this morning against the Manitoba Lightning. Overall, the team scored 46 goals and allowed just nine.
Shtykalo led the team with seven assists and he was second in team scoring with 10 points.
Auger was just behind with nine points while Huberdeau chipped in eight.
