The Grand Plains Peewee Ice Dogs played a couple games this weekend.
Yesterday, Adel Wiebe scored but the Ice Dogs lost 4-1 to the Brandon Oilers.
Sunday:
Earlier today, the team dominated the Rivers Jets, 15-3.
Montana Jubenvill had the hot stick with four goals.
Raylyn Koshowski was also on fire, with three goals.
A couple Ice Dogs had two goals in the game including Lauren Vaters and Addison Damsgaard.
Reese Boguski, Skyla Burns, Ruth Dandeneau, and Brooke Shewchuk scored one each in the game.
Grand Plains Atom Hawks:
Yesterday, the team played a solid game as they beat Dauphin #1.
On Sunday, they battled with Dauphin #3 and came out on top, 4-3.
Quinten Fisk had Dauphin up 2-1 after the first period with two goals and GP’s lone goal came from Kingston Stirling.
The back and forth game continued in the second as Connor Morrisseau scored for Dauphin and Kingston scored his second for the Hawks. GP then went back to back. Stirling recorded his third goal to tie it up and that set the stage for Nolan Ducheck.
He scored the game winner in what turned out to be a fantastic game.
