The Dauphin RIDE program got more people home safely this year.
John Shuttleworth, co-ordinator for Dauphin Reducing Impaired Drivers Everywhere, talks about how many people the volunteers helped get home safe during the holiday season.
“We got 466 people home safely and their vehicles. 215 trips we did. The RIDE program helps to prevent accidents and prevents people from getting hurt or getting in trouble.”
On New Year’s Eve, Dauphin RIDE drove 100 more people home than last year.
