The amount of calls CAA has received in the Parkland because of the extreme temperatures has increased.
Erika Miller Public & Media Relations Specialist with CAA Manitoba talks about how the weather affects the number of calls CAA gets.
"Every year we see a cold snap where people have forgotten to plug in or maybe it's just taken them by surprise and certainly we see a lot of calls for service in those cases. Not necessarily every holiday season as the weather pattern changes, but you can always bet on Mother Nature bringing a cold snap to Manitoba."
Miller says in the Parkland region lots of people have been needing boosts and tows.
