A suspect is in custody in connection with a shooting in Portage la Prairie this past Tuesday.
The shooting happened shortly before 5 a.m. in the Poplar Bay area where a 26 year old sustained no-life threatening injuries.
20 year old Harrison Duncan Beaulieu is facing charges of attempted murder and various firearms offences.
He was remanded into custody of Portage R-C-M-P and is scheduled to appear in court today.
