Several homes in Gillam were evacuated due to a fire at the Rec Centre in the northern community Wednesday night.
Jackie Clayton, Gillam's C-A-O, say the damage was localized to the section of the building where the bowling alley was.
Prior to Wednesday's fire, the rec centre had been closed down in May for renovations.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and town officials will release more information at a later date.
