A decrease in the current Primary Gas rate has been approved by the Public Utilities Board.
Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. applied for a decrease from 9 cents to 8 cents effect Wednesday.
It’s estimated to save customers approximately 2.7 percent or $19 per year on their gas bill.
Those customers that have signed fixed term fixed price contracts are not affected by the decrease.
