A manufacturing company to supply Manitoba's aerospace industry is thinking of setting up in Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

The community close to The Pas could soon see a facility set up and running in the next 2 years.

According to Education and Training Minister Ian Wishart the facility could supply products that are currently unavailable from local suppliers.

If the project is considered feasible 85 thousand dollars will come from Manitoba Aerospace and 25 thousand dollars would come from the province and OCN.
