Negotiations have started between Brandon and Gambler First Nation on what could be Brandon’s first Urban Reserve.
Municipal services agreement negotiations are underway making the first step towards a first Nations Urban Development Area in the city.
There are a number of commercial options that could be built in the new location.
They include a convenience store, car wash, hotel or gas bar. It could take up to 18 months to see any development.
