It's another year at max capacity for the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences.

Associate dean academic Jared Carlberg says enrollment has been at the maximum allowed for the last three years.

And he says he thinks it's fair to say that's a relatively recent phenomenon.

"Our programs are in high demand, our programs are valued by industries-- students out of our programs-- and so I think that there's just been growing demand for post-secondary education in general and because of the fact that we're able to deliver high-quality graduates."

Carlberg says about 20 per cent of students in the faculty are international.
