Fifth graders in the Intermountain Conservation District will have the opportunity to learn about water conservation.

Beginning next Wednesday, IMCD will be holding its annual Water Festival located at the district's office in Ethelbert.

Intermountain Conservation District Administrator, Laurie Hykawy says learning stations will be set up for the students.

"We invite the grade five students from all the schools that are included within our district which include the communities of Dauphin, Gilbert, Grandview, Ethelbert and Winnipegosis... we have 12 learning stations set up that they'll go through and learn about different topics."

This is the ninth time that the festival has been held running until Thursday, September 29th.
