Canadian canola growers are still contemplating Bayer's take over of Monsanto.

 

Last week Bayer and Monsanto announced to the world that both companies would be merging, a deal said to be worth $66 billion dollars.

Executive Manager of the Manitoba Canola Growers, Bill Ross says the decision raises concerns for canola growers.

"You're taking two big players out of the market, so what happens to growers? Does the seed cost go up because there's only one player in the market, I think that's the concern that we have."
