CBC's Still Standing is coming to Gilbert Plains.
The Canadian show hosted by comedian Jonny Harris, explores small towns on the ropes from a comedic perspective.
Community Development Officer for Gilbert Plains, Julie Russell says the filming of the show is during an important weekend for the community.
"The weekend that their here filming is actually our big Fall fundraiser -- our community dinner -- so its kind of neat that it fell on the weekend that their there because that's something their also interested in, because of course it showcases how our community comes together... it's a fundraiser for our bowling alley so that's even better."
CBC crews will be in Gilbert Plains from October 18th - 24th.
An air date for the Gilbert Plains episode has not yet been finalized.
