There's stiff competition in Dauphin's 4H Beef Day.
Dauphin Beef and Sheep Show Committee member Katie Pernarowski says last year 10-15 people guessed the correct weights for the animals.
"I think you just have to take your best guess," she says. "I think that lots of people that participate do really enjoy it."
Five animals, including heifers, steers, horses, and sheep, will be set up at five sponsor locations.
Pernarowski says you have to guess the exact weight of the animal to be entered into the draw to win a cut and wrapped half side of beef.
