Two people have been charged with manslaughter in the death of a 59-year-old man at a home in Birdtail Sioux First Nation.
Dakota Ojibway police officers and paramedics were sent to the home on July 8, and found an unresponsive man with serious injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Manitoba RCMP Serious Crime Unit is now leading the investigation.
32 year old Steven Lee Gregory and 48-year-old Lisa Phyllis Bunn, both from Birdtail Sioux First Nation, have been charged with manslaughter and are to appear in Brandon court today.
