Some Winnipegosis Police men were hero's to a skunk.
On June 22nd the officers freed a skunk from having a Tim Horton's cup stuck on its head.

Constable, Kyle Van de Sype (who was the one who pulled off the cup) saw the skunk on his way home from his shift, so he called his partner for some help.

"You could see in the video, but he throws the blanket over the skunk and we kind of chased it around to get it onto the road so that we could see it cause it was sort of in the long grass. And yeah, it had the Tim Horton's cup stuck on its head and threw the tarp over it, pulled it off, took a couple of attempts be cause I was sort of freaking out. You know, we go through these situations all the time at work where it's dangerous and things like that, then you get a skunk and that's what's freaking you out."

Van de Sype says it all started as kind of a joke, but he is happy that the video is out there to put a smile on peoples faces.
