In conjunction with Clear Lake celebrations day tomorrow, Friends of Riding Mountain National Park have brought in a special tour.
The three hour Black Bear Tour will take you down Highway 19 over to the Agassiz ski hill site.
Chief Administrative Officer for Friends of RMNP, George Hartlen says, this is the first time that they have brought in this tour, which will provide info on bears in RMNP, their denning habits, hibernation behaviour patterns, and how to interact with bears in bear country.
Cost is $35 per person and $31.50 for Friends Members. You can pick up your ticket at the Friends Learning Centre.
Hartlen says they are hoping to offer this a few times in the summer and into the fall to get people out and exploring the park.
