With 78 walkers, this year's Alzheimer's Walk in Dauphin had more than double last year's participants.
Wanda Sime says so far they've raised just over $7,200 and donations are still being accepted until June 30.
Sime says one of her goals this year was to take the walk into the community and get more support and understanding from people, which she thinks was accomplished.
