A pilot program for recycling agricultural plastics is being extended.
Farmers can return waste bale, silage wrap, plastic twine, and grain bags free of charge in large collection bags available at select municipal offices or collection sites.
Collection takes place during summer and fall, and the program is now in place for 2016 and 17.
Summer collections will be from June 27 to July 2 in the RM of Dauphin, Neepawa and surrounding RMs, the RM of Two Borders, the RM of Hanover, the RM of Norfolk-Treherne, and the RM of Portage.
