Temporary measures on Lake Dauphin will be lifted as of midnight tonight.
Manitoba Sustainable Development says fishing on the Lake was banned in late April to protect walleye populations during the spawning season.
The group says after monitoring the lake closely, they determined the majority of walleye spawning is complete.
The fishing season for the southern division of the province opens May 14.
