One of the Premier's Healthy Living Awards for Youth went to a student of Swan Valley Regional Secondary School.
Chayce Osatchuck is being recognized for his work in keeping his peers active in school, and for his work in his local volunteer fire department.
He says the $500 bursary that came with the award will go towards his post-secondary education.
"I'm in the dual-credit welding program here in Swan that's partnered with UCN. So I'll probably put it towards that, and maybe buy myself some supplies for welding too, maybe I'll buy myself a new welding helmet or something."
Osatchuck is also a defense end and offensive guard for the Swan Valley Tigers Football team. He says the team has fully committed to living and eating healthy.
