Dauphin Rec Services has placed signs around the rink, requesting the public to stay off the ice.

Eddy Simpson of Dauphin Rec Services says in order for the rink to re-open this winter, the weather would have to cooperate.

" The temperatures would have to stay below -10 for at least a week before we could build it up, put water back into it and make it usable."

Dauphin's outdoor rink isn't the only ice surface affected by warm temperatures, Brandon's skating oval has also been temporarily closed due to the weather.
