Public Health officials identified 2,548 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba today.
*Dauphin now has 25 active cases of COVID-19*
The test positivity rate has increased to 43.5% provincially.
The case breakdown for today's numbers are:
366 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.
245 in the Interlake/Eastern Health Region.
157 are in the Northern Health Region.
277 are in the Southern Health Region.
1,503 are in the Winnipeg Health Region.
The numbers of active cases in other Prairie Mountain Health districts are:
Riding Mountain (9), Swan River (22), Duck Mountain (10), Porcupine Mountain (16), Agassiz Mountain (54), Asessippi (87), Little Saskatchewan (68), Whitemud (57). Brandon has 1,333 active cases.
In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has 50 active cases. The Fisher/Peguis district has 96 active cases.
There are 21,277 active COVID-19 cases in the province.
222 Manitobans are hospitalized with active COVID-19.
32 Manitobans are in intensive care units with active COVID-19.
